My weakness seems to be text, but I'm trying to improve that.

well first off my reason to drop by was to tell you that I love your entry for the MA challenge
for faceless icons (I admit it, I was creeping them ) and I was just gonna leave you
a comment but I figured I may as well just check out your gallery, right!!

My favorite thing you have in your gallery at the moment is the signature you're using now -
the coloring is reaaaally pretty but I'm not so sure about the text, but I'm not so good at text
so I suppose that doesn't count for much.

Firstly, I adore your gallery! All of it! My favourites have to be +this banner and +this one. Your text is amazing, and many people lack that ability! I looove your blends as well. The first one is actually my favourite, but I do like both of them.

hi...here to critique your gallery

icons: they are lovely ..nice coloring and gradient...maybe more bright.
you should try using text too and practice with cuts.

signatures: nice composition but maybe the coloring should pop more. the text ...you can move it more to right and i thing that will look better.

banners: the last one is my favorite ..lovely..the second is nice too.the first one needs more work.change the pink coloring and make emma smaller and move her more up and this would loke better.also make the text bigger.

blend: love the one with ian ..very cool.also the first one looks nice but the watch out for the blending on the big girl.nice text.

I love the Hermione/Weasley twin banner, it's amazing! Your icons are pretty too: cool cuts (placement on everything's nice), though the gradients are a bit strong. Then again that's personal preference more than anything, I never like gradients really, so feel free to ignore me... You're doing so well, the whole gallery's lovely and pretty! Maybe be a bit more careful with blending on your blends? Everywhere else it's perfect, but the green spots on the pink blend don't quite fit. Love the colouring on them both, though!

Hello there, here with some crit for ya

Composition/Blending You do rather well with making interesting compositions. You use interesting pics and blend nicely. I like the different kinds of styles you've used throughout your gallery - it really shows off what you can do. Very interesting cuts on your icons. Your banners seem to all use that kind of placement of the girl's face being really big and all - it really looks nice in all of them, but try not to do all the same thing. Get just a little more variety in that section. Be careful when using a hard brush, it gets a little bit sloppy sometimes (like Fred/George's arm in the first banner).

Text Using less, I think, will help. That's what I do when I don't like the way my text looks Your text gets kind of small in some of your graphics, so try not to make it so tiny it can't be read. Also, maybe try using a bit darker of colors so it stands out more. Other than that... you do a pretty nice job.

Coloring/Quality I like your use of one color to create unity in the graphic. That being said, I think it would give your graphics a lot more depth if you brought in some more colors. Just get a couple colors that still look nice together and I think you can still keep that unity but give your graphic a more... finished, I want to say... look. Additionally, try not to color faces too strongly - in the first banner, the pink on them is just a little too unnatural, I think. You've got a good grasp of image quality from what I can see - keep that up, it'll take you a long way

Mmmm... I think that's all I want to touch on, actually You don't need a lot of critique, really, because you're doing well. The main thing keeping you down, I think, is your smaller number of graphics. You have the potential for an awesome gallery - it just needs more in it!

Here for your critique.

You mentioned that you thought text was your weakness, but I don't think it is. You're very good at placing text and choosing the right font style/colour for a graphic, both things that most artists have a lot of difficulty with. Your trouble, instead, is that all your text is pixelly. In Photoshop, you need to make sure that you have the font set on "smooth" or "strong" - or it's a problem with the font you're using, particularly the serif one that you use for small text.

Apart from that, I would most strongly recommend that you make more graphics. There's just the bare minimum here, and it's hard to get an idea of your abilities, particularly with forum graphics, as there's not enough to judge by. You seem to have the basics down and would be good for junior rank, I think.

Now for the nitpicky stuff. Watch for the placement of faces on banners, like on this one, Hermione should be showing less forehead, and then her nose will not be cut off. The second banner is ideal in this sense, with just the right amount of face showing for that close up. But also try not to make that style a habit, as I see that all three of the banners are very similar in composition. Try to show off some variety.

Your blends are okay, though not your strength. The texture use is making them too cloudy and making for odd-looking blending in both graphics.
