Here for your requested critique.

You were close with promotions, and your animated banner nearly convinced me. It's very well-done. Your signatures are another strength, with great use of negative space and simplicity. Same goes for the icons. The banners, however, are more all-over-the-place in terms of style, technique, and issues. The banners I think are best are this (somehow, you make that text work, even though the quote isn't ideally placed), this (although trendy in its use of stock, you made it look good), and the animated banner.

The ones to work on:

- with this banner, the background stands out too much. Try some obscuring colour layers or textures to quiet it down a bit - I can't clearly enough see the foreground images and the text.

- this banner is nice, but overexposed (too much whiteness).

- on this banner, watch the hardcut on the girl's arm (still black showing), and the colouring of the photos doesn't match the rest of the graphic well-enough.

- this and this have an interesting style, but I think you need to do something more with the colouring to give them more depth and make them look polished. As is, they appear unfinished.

- similarly, this signature needs more to it. It's just a cut image (not to mention oversharpened with contrast issues). Try using additives and other things to perk it up a bit.

- with the blend, there are image quality problems on the girl, who is very pixellated (probably from oversharpening).

That's it! Especially watch out for image quality, which includes contrast, sharpening, blurring, etc.

Firstly, love the Mean Girls icons! The colouring on them is gorgeous and the cuts are fantastic. Your animated banner is super creative, so I really adore that, but the top few banners seem a lot weaker than the bottom ones for me. The 'lost' banner is by far my favourite, even though I don't particularly go for the font. I think you managed to make it work though. The three below that have good colouring, and I really like the simplicity and use of negative space of the 'smile' one (good text too!), but the top three seem a lot weaker like I said, the first one in particular, which looks rather rushed and as though you haven't put a lot of time and effort into it. On 'time' I think the girl gets a bit lost in the background since it's a bit busy and the dark stroke on the dark text makes it look a bit blurry (with strokes etc. try and keep to light against dark rather than similar shades).

Pretty sure I've told you before, but I love the 'late' signature. Gorgeous colouring, lovely simplicity and fantastic use of negative space. However, the text on your other three sigs is weaker than on your banners. Try and do something interesting and creative with it! Anyway, I hope this helped. Your gallery is improving each time I visit it, which is pretty awesome I reckon.

Hi Katie. I'm Tahi...here to critique you First off, let me just say that your gallery is really pretty.
Icons: Your Taylor Swift icons have good cuts but they look slightly blurred. Maybe a little sharpening would look nice The Mean Girls icons are lovely. I love the colouring and the cuts are original
Banners: They are definitely your strength. I absolutely LOVE +this (it's so lovely to look at), +this (loving the composition and text) and the animation in +this But watch out for image quality. +This, for instance, lacks clarity and the text could use some work too, coz the font colour is dark and so is the stroke. I also love your use of negative space, like in the Smile banner
Sigs: I love ALL of them, except maybe the Seduction sig. It's very weak compared to your other sigs. My favs are the Ben Barnes sig (delicious negative space) and the animated sig (I think I just died )

All in all, you're great with graphics. You make negative space look good, which is a big thing (for me ) and I wish you good luck. Keep up the great work

I'm here with your requested critique.

Banners:
I don't really see any problems with image quality in these. But your coloring all seems to kind of be varying tones of one color. You should try to add some more colors in it to make it more eye catching. Also your text seems a little bit too big and over to the side in some of your banners such as the 'Butterfly Wings' one. Most of your banners the text placement looks off a little. Just keep playing around with it. Try not to make it so big it takes away from the focal point. Same with putting it off to the side. On most of your banners I LOVE the composition, so keep up the good work with that.

Sigs:
Yet again on your sigs, I love the composition. The text seems to be better on your sigs than your banners. Try doing what you do with text on sigs to your banners. Also on your sigs the coloring all seems to be one color. Try adding more colors to make it pop. I like the 'Dark' sig a lot though. On the top two sigs the coloring seems a little washed out. Try adding a little contrast to fix that.

Chapter Image:
The chapter images looks good, but the hair looks a little choppy. Try to use a blur around the edges. Also her hair and the rest looks a little too filtered. Try not to use TOO many filters. But the coloring looks good on this. Good job!

Blends:
Your blends composition is looking good on these. I'm jealous of your composition. The top blend seems a little bit too filtered. Like I said try not to over do it with the filters.

Overall:
Try to add more colors, work on the size of text and text placement a little bit, and try not to over do it with the filters. Keep up the great job on the composition.

I love the originality of those icons It bothers me a bit that they all have that same halo, on some of them the whitish one doesn't really work, like the 2nd across on the bottom row. I like these, though.

Your blending is great and colouring generally really nice. +This seems a bit too dark, maybe up the brightness/contrast on that a little. +This isn't your strongest piece, I don't think the filter works and the images don't flow so well, but I do like the text. Congrats, you're good at text - and that's something everyone member-staff has difficulty with, trust me!

I like your sigs very much. +This is just beautiful.

Your blends are incredible too!! Again a couple of them could do with upping the contrast, they just look a little dingy, like +this and +this. You have a great grasp of mood and blending, again, is great though.

Lovely gallery overall! Just a few things, but keep up the good work

you strengths | you have great composition and your text is really good too. so good work with that.

things to work on | sometimes, the orange coloring you use comes out more yellow than orange. though it may work sometimes [x] other times it may not be appealing [x]

overall | you're doing great on, just watch out for that orange coloring. if done correctly it would look fab but if not, it'll give this yellow sickly coloring that we don't want. keep practicing!

I really like the second one though [alexz johnson!!!!!] it's creative and the text is also good
the third one is reallt cool, too, but I think that Harry is a bit too yellow, it looks quite unnatural

+overall. so, i think you have a good gallery here the only problems I noticed were concerining text and that your image quality could be better. (and, make moree xD) your composition and text placement are also really good ^.^

Hi Katie, here with you quick crit!

Strengths: I love the bases of your banners. They're beautiful blended together with lovely colors being used together and just the right images, and the right amount of business.

Weakness: You seem to have a little trouble blending/fitting people into your beautiful bases. A good rule of thumb is to have your base be darker that your person, although that can be done the other way as well. In "Perfection", Chris Pine needs a bit of contrast to fit into the banner. In your Amy Adams banner, I would perhaps darken the bases so that their coloring match the darker tones of the Amy's. I would also suggest playing with the sharpen/blur features to give your characters a little oomph.

Hi there! I'm here with a quick crit
So I'll start with some positive things - the composition, on your banners especially, is amazing! It's very well done.
I also like the colouring on most of your things, but some of them could use more contrast - like this banners, and the icons.
Another thing about the icons, I think you could experiment more with cuts, and makes less centered ones. this is example of a great cut.
One more thing is image quality - you should really watch out of low quality images. this and this ones especially. sometimes you can fix this with a bit of surface blur.
Last thing I should mention is the text. While sometimes the stroke you add works with the graphic, it sometimes doesn't. Here for example, the color of the border doesn't really fit, and here it's too bold. Here though it works perfectly The placement of the text is also very good on each and one of your graphics! You can also try using more gentle and thin fonts, it sometimes works better than the bold ones.
Overall you have lovely stuff, I especially enjoy your hard & clear cuts of the people, I know I can't handle it as good as you do!
Keep up your wonderful work, I hope I wasn't too harsh because I really didn't mean to! I hope It was helpful! ♥
