The Dark Arts requires registration for all of our users who wish to post on the board. Obviously, you're welcome to browse topics, read our tutorials and use our reference lists without having registered, but that's only so fun for so long smile.gif

To register, just saunter up to the top of the page and click "register" then fill out the form and it's time to wait. Within about 10 minutes, you should recieve an e-mail from no-reply[at]the-dark-arts[dot]net asking that you validate your account. Click the link and your account will have been validated. At that point, your name and e-mail address pop up on a list for the Administrators to approve. It can take a little while but, trust me, it's worth it.

Your account cannot be finalized until you click on the link in that e-mail. Check your spam boxes, especially if you have Gmail, because our e-mails tend to end up there - remember to add the-dark-arts[dot]net to your safe senders list. ;)

The Administrators try to check in on the validation approvals a few times a day but sometimes, it can take longer.

Why do we admin validate? Spam bots, etc... will register and url validate accounts and then post spam messages on the board that range from sales calls to pornography.

If you are having any issues with registration, please post in THIS FORUM+++ for assistance.
