In Topic: Not sure what I should do with this blend

19 June 2018 - 01:07 PM

Hey Jay! Great start here!

I would say the blend needs text because right now the focal point of it is a little scattered. I think adding text would help you pull the eye where you want us to focus. Something script-y would be great near the bottom and then some smaller text in a san serif font would probably work.

I wanna say be careful with blending especially the right hand model there's some bits around her head that are a little sharp.

+This is an AMAZING blend tutorial by one of our admins Kristina and it is sooo comprehensive.

And +this is a delicious tutorial on how to cheat when blending hair. SUPER useful!

Great job keep up the hard work!

HI Jay! Welcome to TDA! It's so exciting to see you experiment with stock-based banners! I still struggle a whole lot with those! Text is honestly the hardest part of banners for me. If you aren't familiar with dafont.com I would suggest checking it out and seeing if there are fun fonts that call your name!

Other than that great start!

Hey Sammi!! Great start! I think maybe if you brought the "pride" text down to the bottom of the graphic and found a way to stack the i will not cringe possibly in all caps and smaller you might see the comp works out a little better. Although you might also try and making pride a little brighter? BUT! I think you should go with the all serif font for the "cringe" text
